turn ChatGPT Space into your operating system with one prompt
from the episode: ChatGPT wants your whole day - so i let it audit mine | LAB 0012
Lenny's AI Builders - LAB 0012
make ChatGPT audit what it knows about you, mark its guesses, and design one Space for your whole life.
ChatGPT wants your whole day.
so i let GPT-6.1 Sol audit my life and design my ChatGPT Space.
it worked for 52m 54s. the hookups to my other apps aren't built yet - i show you exactly where it stands.
why it matters
ChatGPT is becoming less of an app and more of an operating system.
it now takes your meeting notes with no bot on the call. it hosts apps you build with one sentence. and your dot can file things into your Space.
the more you do inside ChatGPT, the more it knows about you. some of what it knows is a guess.
so before you move your life in, make it show you what it knows. then fix what's wrong.
what you get
- you see what ChatGPT already knows about you, with the guesses marked.
- you get one Space for your whole life: a home page, an inbox, and a page for each part.
- you find out what you'd still have to log twice, before you move anything.
the real example: my "Lennox OS" Space
i ran the prompt below with GPT-6.1 Sol, on my own Pro account. i added one more line so it had to argue with Claude Opus 5.5 until they agreed.
it worked for 52m 54s. then it wrote:
- "We can build one 'Lennox OS' Space where you capture, plan, start work, review results and find your history - with your Dot handling the connections and filing."
- "I've now designed that full system. Four adversarial rounds with the exact Claude Opus 5.5 model ended in explicit AGREE."
- "The integrations are still unbuilt; the earlier Today page remains a small prototype."
when i filmed, it was still in plan mode, grilling me with questions on the final setup.
so it's designed. it's not built.
try it
- paste the prompt below into ChatGPT.
- read the audit. fix its wrong guesses before you build anything.
- keep the Space small: a home page, an inbox, and one page per part of your life.
- move nothing out of your old app until your dot files things for you.
- if you'd have to log something twice, drop it.
want it spicy? add this line to the end. it's what i did: "Use claude -p Opus 5.5 for adversarial review until you reach agreement on what this would be for me." you need a Claude subscription, or another way to reach Opus 5.5, like OpenRouter.
copy this prompt
this is the prompt i read out at 9:55. paste it into ChatGPT before you move anything into your Space.
Turn ChatGPT Spaces into my operating system.
1. Audit everything you know about me. Mark what's a guess.
2. Build one Space: a Home page, an Inbox, and a page for each part of my life.
3. Connect the apps I already use, and have my dot file whatever I send it.
4. Don't move or delete anything, and ask before you send anything.
Then tell me what I'd still have to log twice.you'll know it worked when
you get an audit of what ChatGPT knows about you, with the guesses marked as guesses.
you get a plan for one Space: a home page, an inbox, and a page for each part of your life.
nothing was moved or deleted. nothing was sent without asking you. and it tells you what you'd still have to log twice.
a bad result: it states guesses as facts, it moves or deletes things, it sends something without asking, or it says the apps are connected when they aren't.
limits and dates
recorded on 1 October 2026. LAB 0012 went public on YouTube on 3 October 2026 at 4:23 pm Perth time.
this is one run, on my own account. your ChatGPT knows different things about you. your audit will say different things.
the audit is ChatGPT's view of me, not a fact check.
it's a design, not a build. the result screen says the integrations are still unbuilt, and the earlier "Today" page is a small prototype.
the video shows the prompt and the result screen. it does not show the audit findings or a finished Space. my personal entries are blurred.
Space is on Pro, Business and Enterprise, on desktop and web.
ChatGPT Meetings is a beta on Mac, for Pro and Business.
Gemini 4 Argon is for trusted testers only. there's no public API yet, so i haven't used it.
"your dot joins calls next" is my prediction, not an OpenAI announcement.
the news in the next section is as it stood when i recorded. check the linked sources for where things are now.
the rest of this LAB
- Gemini 4 Argon. Google says it can write up to a million tokens in one reply. Opus 5.5 and GPT-6.1 Sol stop at 128,000. only trusted testers can use it, through Google's Fairwind program. the reported price is $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output, then $4 and $20. reported by a third party, not Google. my take: can't use it, can't judge it.
- ChatGPT Meetings. it listens through your Mac's mic and sound, with no bot on the call. it saves notes and action items to your Space. OpenAI says the audio is deleted once the notes are ready. my prediction: your dot joins calls next.
- GPT-6.1 Sol. Tibo says it's OpenAI's most demanded model pretty much ever, and speed should reach almost twice what they served the day before. my take: that tells me they ran out of compute. it'll be the model i use most. the one i want most is still Opus 5.5.
- Hormozi's AI memo. his memo says his team already gets 16x the token spend per person of the average tech-forward company, based on Ramp data from 70,000 businesses. bigger AI budgets aren't coming. spend tokens only on work that makes or saves money. my take: room to experiment wins.
- the White House Accord. on 29 September, six AI bosses signed a voluntary pledge to check their own AI four ways: internal controls, a safety team, an outside auditor and a board committee. there are no penalties. the next day, Reuters reported the FTC opened an AI probe. my take: a pinky promise, for now.
- ChatGPT Sites + MCP. Sites can now host MCP servers, including plugin extensions. you type one sentence and it builds, hosts and installs the plugin on web, phone and desktop. my take: this could be the new app store. it's also a lock-in trap.
